Assistant Women's Soccer Coach Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Assist the Head Women’s Soccer Coach in overseeing the direction of the Varsity Women’s Soccer program at the NCAA Division II level. This includes duties such as recruitment, practice/game preparation, practice/game implementation of coaching principles, fund raising, promotions, public and alumni relations and other areas assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. Must be able to make an immediate positive impact on the program. Additional duties include teaching activity classes in the KIP department.
Executive Director, Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts is the largest performing arts venue in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, primarily serving the public in the Keweenaw region of Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, and Ontonagon counties. The center is part of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) and includes oversight of programming in two theaters, a visual arts gallery, and a large public lobby. The director reports to the VPA department chair and will work closely with faculty and staff of the VPA department to provide artistic leadership and business management for the overall function of the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts. The director will implement the strategic plan of the center, participate in university and community partnerships and outreach, and lead fund-raising efforts and grant-writing related to the Presenting Series and other activities of the Rozsa Center. The director will supervise staff in all operational roles in the center including production, marketing, guest services, rentals, ticketing, concessions, and general administration.

Develop, instrument, set up, execute, track, and document vehicle testing through data collection, interpreting, and reporting results using a multitude of sensors, instruments, and controllers for applications including propulsion, drivability, safety, ADAS, and connected & automated vehicles (CAVs).
Collections Strategist Librarian Main Campus (Houghton, MI)

Structural Engineer Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
This position serves as a technical expert in structural engineering of transportation infrastructure. This position will work as part of a team that provides training and customer support to bridge-owning-agency engineers and their consultants on the use of AASHTOWare Bridge Rating software and theory and policy regarding bridge load ratings. They will also engage with other structural engineers and computer programmers to provide interpretation of MDOT and AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and review of software code (Fortran and Python) used in the design of bridge super and sub-structures. This position is also responsible for conducting small research projects in fields related to transportation infrastructure. This position serves as an advocate and technical resource for Michigan’s local (city, village, county) transportation agencies and will provide technical support for activities underway at the Center for Technology & Training, which includes work with the Michigan Local Bridge Load Rating and Inspection Support program and the Michigan Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). The position requires a strong background in structural engineering (bridges) as well as knowledge of the relationship between Michigan’s road owning agencies at a state and local level.
Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Oversee the direction of the Men’s and Women’s Varsity Tennis programs at the NCAA Division II level. Responsible for recruitment, scheduling, practice/event preparation, budget management, fundraising and promotion. Assist the VP for Athletics and Recreation in a leadership role to enhance the internal and external visibility and recognition of the Michigan Tech Tennis Programs. College Marketing and Communications Manager Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective, on-brand content and communications for the academic College(s), including undergraduate and graduate programs, research initiatives, experiential learning opportunities, and other content aligned with overall objectives for recruitment and reputation. The manager builds strategic partnerships with many stakeholders, including associated departments and institutes, industry partners, and members of the Michigan Tech community. Working under the direction of the Associate Director of Communications (UMC), this position articulates the College stories and advances Michigan Tech’s vision and reputation by producing strategic and creative content for multiple audiences using a variety of media. The manager is responsible for the development, writing, and editing of content aligned with a College’s (the Colleges’) and the University’s shared, strategic communications goals—including news stories, press releases, magazine stories, web content, social media content, media content, recruitment materials, and internal communications—and other materials related to highlighting the accomplishments, research, initiatives, and events at Michigan Technological University. The person in this role leads content strategy and production for the College(s), guiding the communications coordinators in each department and other associated units, generating story ideas and execution for both print and digital platforms, with an emphasis on cohesive on-brand messaging, compelling storytelling, accuracy, and creativity. This position reports to the Associate Director of Communications within University Marketing and Communications (UMC).
Department Chair, Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Department Chair will lead the Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology faculty in their mission of excellence in education, research, and service. We seek an individual who has an earned doctorate in Kinesiology/Exercise Science, or a related health sciences field with the vision and experience to grow our undergraduate and graduate programs, elevate the department's prominence in human health-related research, and further our strong tradition of educational excellence. We are particularly interested in a chair that can support and complement existing research strengths in the department in exercise science, integrative physiology, motor learning and control, biomechanics, and public health. The position is expected to begin July 1, 2025.
Electrical Engineer - Campus Facilities Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Overall administration of the campus electrical system, including high and low voltage. Ensure system compliance with NEC and other pertinent code requirements to provide a safe and dependable electrical system for the University. Work with in-house personnel and outside consultants as necessary to coordinate projects, changes, and expansion of the system. Design and manage small electrical projects or coordinate with outside consultants for larger projects to properly modify the existing system as required. Advise and make recommendations to the AVP Facilities Management, the Director of Planning & Construction, the Director of Energy Management, and other members of the University personnel on all aspects of electrical engineering, electrical construction, life safety, and code compliance in pursuit of University objectives.

The Director for Charitable Giving is responsible for securing gifts of $25,000 and greater to support the university’s programs, priorities, and initiatives. This position will act as the liaison for colleges and campus units as assigned by the Executive Director for Charitable Giving. The Director will utilize a moves management system to identify, strategize, and document all gifts. Through collaborative efforts with the fundraising team and strategic actions to advance donor portfolios, their focus is meeting and exceeding yearly metrics to attain campaign goals. The Director will travel to interact with alumni and friends of the university and professionally represent the mission and vision of Michigan Tech. Budget and Operations Coordinator Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Budget and Operations Coordinator will maintain financial files for two grant-funded programs according to King-Chavez-Parks guidelines. Duties include, but are not limited to ordering supplies, making travel arrangements, and providing administrative support for all program activities. Grounds Manager Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Under the Director of Operations, coordinate and direct the operations of the Grounds Department, including supervision of the campus gardener, (5) equipment operators, (3) groundspersons, and student staff. Essential duties include the inventory, care and maintenance of campus landscapes, utilities, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include coordinating grounds maintenance schedules and assignments, establishing and monitoring service levels, and developing and managing departmental budgets.
Director, Planning & Construction Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
This position manages the FM Planning & Construction Department and is responsible for: 1) Overall administration of all University planning, design, and construction projects, including new buildings, renovations, and maintenance projects. 2) Managing departmental staff, workloads, and budgets. 3) Working with the AVPFM and other FM Directors on the overall management, direction, and planning for the entire FM Department. 4) Working with the AVPFM to advise and report to the University Sr Administration and the Board of Trustees on the long-range planning, current activities, and FM recommendations for the campus facilities. 5) Work with the AVPFM and the CFO on the Capital Planning Process in pursuit of the University objectives.
