Research Engineer I - Software Developer Michigan Tech Research Institute (Ann Arbor, MI)
MTRI is seeking a motivated professional to help support multiple projects for our government and commercial customers. The Software Developer will work with senior engineers and scientists to research, develop, and evaluate algorithms for a variety of geospatial, signal, and/or image processing applications. The successful candidate will have a solid background in computer science with strong skills in software prototyping, software design, and algorithm design. Research Engineer I - Radar Research Engineer Michigan Tech Research Institute (Ann Arbor, MI)
MTRI (www.mtri.org) is seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious professional interested in conducting cutting-edge research in radar and systems engineering. This position requires collaboration with senior engineers and scientists to research, design, and evaluate algorithms for various signal- and image-processing applications related to radar remote sensing. EHS Support Specialist Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The EHS Support Specialist works with the Environmental Health and Safety Department to provide support functions in the department’s planning, directing, and implementation of environmental health and safety programs and to promote a positive, safe, and healthy campus environment. Direct responsibility for daily maintenance of EHS software platforms, social media communications, including the departmental website, and managing various EHS communication streams is an integral part of this position's duties. With a working fundamental knowledge of university safety programs and governmental safety standards, this position will support and foster the growth of campus safety culture and governmental compliance requirements. Assistant Hockey Coach Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Michigan Technological University seeks a goal-oriented, charismatic and dedicated assistant hockey coach with a genuine interest in the success of student-athletes and building a winning hockey program. The coach will assist the Head Hockey Coach in overseeing the direction of the varsity hockey program at the NCAA Division I level. Primary duties include: identification and recruitment of quality hockey student-athletes, practice/game preparation, and implementation of coaching principles. Other duties may be assigned by the Head Hockey Coach and the Athletic Director. The coach works in a collaborative fashion with the Athletic Department and serves in a leadership role to enhance the internal and external visibility and recognition of the Michigan Tech hockey program.
